Nice to see Grandma in the Dutch news again. Reference is made to her recipes in the article of the NRC by Janneke Vreugdenhil. This time when re-issued the “Great Indonesian cookbook by Beb Vuyck.” Grandma Keasberry may well not have written as many books as Aunty Beb, but it is mentioned often and still ranks among the top 5 most frequently consulted sources (classical) * Indonesian cooking. In particular, the dishes like many families in the former Dutch East indies used to serve and were accustomed to eating.

Oma Keasberry in de NRC
Leuk dat Oma weer ‘ns in het nieuws komt en er wordt verwezen naar haar recepten in het artikel van de NRC door Janneke Vreugdenhil. Dit keer bij het opnieuw uitgegeven van het ‘Groot Indonesisch kookboek van Beb Vuyck.’ Oma Keasberry mag dan wel niet zoveel boeken geschreven hebben als Tante Beb, maar ze wordt nog wel vaak genoemd en behoort tot de top 5 van meest geraadpleegde bronnen voor (klassiek) Indisch koken*. Met name de gerechten zoals vele families in het voormalig Nederlands–Indië gewend waren te eten.
