It’s 11 past 11 in the morning on 1/11/11. Great! After a fun NYE party with friends… and a short night, time to write something about the 1st day of what is going to be a great year! People trying to run to the post office wanting to get their stamp dated, only to find out the post office is closed today. Bet there are many people getting married today! If 11am didn’t work they can still get married at 1pm or 11pm! More partying! Babies will be born at 11 passed 11! A day no one will forget.
So what’s on the menu today? Looking at some left-over ‘oliebollen’ and ‘pisang goreng’…. they are smiling at me! Had some of those before I rolled into bed and after I got up. That’s what you get when you get carried away baking. Luckily some friends will come over this evening to help me with that!
