Another Cooking With Keasberry session last Sunday. This time at Sylvia and Martin’s residence. All Chefs were ready to go in the Dutch-Indo Kitchen with their apron on, a cutting board on the counter, a kitchen knife in the hand. Under supervision of Master Chef and mother Jessica and yours truly, people were cutting, rasping, chopping and grinding in the mortar. All got their turn in learning how to make a Loempia (eggroll) On the menu: For starters Loempia with a spicy sweet ‘n sour sauce. For main course: Daging Rudjak (Beef stew in Rudjak spices) Sambal Goreng Boontjes with tofu (Spicy Bean Dish with tofu), Atjar Ketimoen (Cucumber Salad), Nasi Putih (steamed white rice) and Krupuk Udang (Prawn Crackers). For dessert Mango en Lychee pudding. Icecream as option.
