When you look at our family’s pantry, fridge & freezer, you are looking at a mini market. Being raised in an Indo Dutch family, means never get caught by surprise. One must be able to ‘make something from nothing,’ as my mom used to say. And in that lies the challenge of the Indo Chef. There should always be food in the house. ‘Improv’ is my middle name! With these suggestions you too can whip up a meal in no time. Our family’s credo is: ‘be ready to cater to your cravings and unexpected guests!’ Stock up on the following Indo staples and you are ready to go. The ingredients list will be updated regularly.
