Restaurant Djokja, founded in 1954 in Amsterdam by Mrs. MA Keasberry-of Beekom, also known as grandma (OMA) Keasberry and named after the city where she lived and had her fashion business for over 25 years. The restaurant was in the family for 35 years . After 25 years grandma Keasberry sold the restaurant to her son Bill and daughter in-law Jessica. Jeff was the third generation to take over the helm at 18 years of age.
