A whole week Me, Myself and Chef Jeff were in wonderful New York to conduct two Indo Dutch cooking workshops in the Village for members of the Netherlands Clubs. Eager foodies ready to learn to cook and eat ‘Dutch Indies’ food, as there are not that many Indonesian restaurants in NYC. On the menu: Pangsit Goreng, Gado Gado and Pisang Goreng. Fingerlicking Good!!

Also that same week, I was interviewed by Heritage Radio Network for the program “FEAST MEETS WEST” and got to talk about the history of the Rijsttafel and Indo Dutch Cuisine! It was an interesting experience and I hope the beginning of more opportunities to spread the word and entice Americans to try our fascinating cuisine.
